The 2009 season will see the debut of the artifial turf at Rietz Bowl, Central Stadium (pictured to the left) and Enlow Field. To an old time football purist, the idea of playing high school football on plastic might not sit too well, but it will bring a parody to all teams and all locations. Some fileds receive more use than others. Enlow Field plays host to three teams while Reitz and Central just two. As the season progresses, Enlow Field would begin to show the use much more. Now, everyone will be on an even playing filed (no pun intended). The level playing filed also means that Central will loose it's high rake and will be more like the other fields.
